I love Autumn

Fall is one of my favorite season. Not only because the weather is nicer, but also because the changing color of landscape in North East USA.

Everyday, I expect to see a little bid (or a lot) color changing performance of mother nature. Everyday is another surprise...I like Summer's green and warm weather, or Spring's vibrant flower, or Winter's pure white snow. But I like Autumn the most...There was a online test I did long time ago says that I belong to Autumn, and I can't agree more!


No matter I upset I was at work, as long as I saw those blue sky with colorful foliage, I fell better. Especially seeing those bright orange/red maples, make may day better.

Hot Pot

When the weather is getting chill, it is the right time to eat hot pot. In East Asia (China, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea). People like to eat hot pot during winter time. No matter it is for 1 person or family and friends gather around, hot pot is a great choice to defeat cold weather. There are so many different kind of hot pot (or you can just create your won). Basically just a pot of water (usually broth), but on top of heating equipment (in the photo, I use burner), add vegetables, meat, sea food, tofu, noodles, even rice, anything you can think of and like to eat.



I was so happy last week, when the weather finally get colder...feel like Autumn, so I cooked hot pot for dinner...sit infront of TV

Matsu and god generals in Midtown Manhattan

On Sep 15, 2007 in Midtown Manhattan, thousand of people came to support TAIWAN join United Nation rally. Taiwan's sea goddess Matsu also bring her god generals to join the parade, which made a big scene...especially those god generals! Although this year, we fail the mission again, but there are more country in UN meeting raised this issue. Hope one day TAIWAN can really be part of UN member.
